## The five traditions in The Prism

1. **Jung (Western, archetypes).** Based on Carl Jung's analytical psychology: dreams as messages from the unconscious, read through archetypes such as the Shadow, the Anima and Animus, and the Self.
2. **Ibn Sirin (Islamic, 8th century).** Based on the classical Islamic dream-interpretation tradition attributed to Ibn Sirin, where symbols carry spiritual and moral meaning and the dreamer's circumstances shape the reading.
3. **Taoist (Chinese, yin and yang).** Reads a dream in terms of balance between yin and yang, and what would restore harmony and flow.
4. **Vedic (Indian, Swapna Shastra).** Based on the Swapna Shastra, the Vedic study of dreams, which considers a dream's symbols and the dreamer's state.
5. **Japanese (Hatsuyume).** Draws on hatsuyume, the Japanese custom of reading the first dream of the new year as an omen of fortune, and the wider tradition of dreams as signs.

## Privacy

- **Anonymous sign-in**: Morph uses anonymous authentication. It does not ask for a name, email, password or social login.
- **Your dreams**: dream text and voice recordings are sent to Morph's servers and processed by AI providers to transcribe and interpret them. They are not shown to other users.
- **Deletion**: users can delete their account and all dreams, recordings and interpretations from Profile → Delete account in the app, or by emailing support@rrdl.io.
- **Export**: users can request an export of their journal (PDF plus audio recordings) from Profile → Export journal or by emailing support@rrdl.io.

**Is Morph free?**

**Do I need an account or an email address?**
No. Morph signs you in anonymously the first time you open it. There is no email, password or social login to set up.

**Is my dream journal private?**
Your dreams are linked to an anonymous ID, not your name, and are never shown to other people. Dream text and voice notes are sent to Morph's servers and processed by AI providers only to transcribe and interpret them. You can delete everything from Profile, then Delete account.

**Which dream interpretation traditions does Morph use?**
Five: Carl Jung's archetypes, Ibn Sirin's classical Islamic dream scholarship, Taoist yin and yang, the Vedic Swapna Shastra, and Japanese Hatsuyume. The Prism shows all five readings of the same dream side by side.

**Can I record my dreams by voice?**
